Inspector needed for a contract opportunity for Yoh's client located in Malabar, FL.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Responsible for the inspection of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) and/or electrical/mechanical assemblies using IPC standards, test & measurement equipment.
- Perform inspection of incoming parts and/or in-process inspection of PCBAs, mechanical assemblies and/or finished products.
- Ensure proper material identification, segregation and storage.
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to implement containment plans for failed material.
- Collaborate with Quality to issue Inspection Reports as required.
- Maintain daily, monthly and quarterly metrics as prescribed.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and work to implement process/procedural changes as required.
What You Need to Bring to the Table
- IPC-A-610 Certified with a solid understanding of IPC 610 Class 1, 2 & 3 standards and familiarity with circuit board and electro-mechanical inspections a must
- Must be proficient in the use of the following: Digital Calipers, Plug Gauges, Thread Gauges, Metric and 10th scales, Work Process Instructions, Assembly Drawings, ability to navigate in a windows environment.
- Good understanding of lean principles
