Job Description:
L3Harris is searching for talented test engineering services planner candidate to join the L3Harris team where the candidate will support the production of high speed digital avionics electronics sub-systems.
This position will focus on driving daily, weekly and monthly production goals facilitating medium-high volume test work cell efficiency to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
This is a 2nd shift task lead position.
Essential Functions:
Provide daily direction to testing staff Follows processes in conformance with established policies and objectives Implement and analyze test plans and projects Coordinates with personnel and planners to ensure appropriate flow of make items Setup pririorities to releveant areas to ensure communication flows with the necessities of the program.
Track work in process reports and provide status of units that are collecting aging.
With production planning oversight, assists to meet operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, floor inventory accuracy, release on time and on time delivery.
Provides feedback to production planning of any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.
Qualifications:
Extensive Knowledge and Application of Lean tools and Principals:
5S+1 Standard Work Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Visual Management Gemba Pull and Flow Cell design / 3P Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associate's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience or Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Electronics testing background - knowledge of test process flow and execution Experience in CCA manufacturing, mechanical assembly, machine shop, finishing, electrical assembly, composites, and testing operations Experience with Microsoft Products:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project Ability to obtain a DoD clearance Strong analytical and problems solving skills Exceptional interpersonal/written communication skills; can effectively interact with all levels of management Ability to work on multiple projects with limited direction Experience in Lean Manufacturing in an Aerospace/Defense environment Preferred Additional Skills:
Must possess strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic, high attention to detail and be flexible.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion multiple assignments concurrently.
Basic understanding of MS Office Applications with general understanding of Excel formulas Experience in a production manufacturing environment Proficient with planning tools, such as MRP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Fusion and/or Factory Logix).
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management peers and subordinates.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
